EU´s housing crisis

A new report from FEANTSA, the European Federation of National Organizations Working with the Homeless, has shown homelessness is on the rise in almost all European countries: The story of the woman Sarah who was forced to leave her home in Dublin is only one of a thousand similar stories around Europe's Cities connected to the rising rents. The article quotes that "Youth homelessness in Copenhagen, for instance, is up by 75 percent since 2009".
In response to these difficulties, European activists have been mobilising direct action to provide advice on squatting, protesting, and support within communities. The article interviews two cities and their activists, in Berlin and Dublin, to reflect on ongoing activism and possibilities.
