Co-living: a solution to the housing crisis?

Co-living is presented as a solution to the housing crisis, but it can also serve as a strategy to maximize rental income.

People are settling for co-living alternatives  - as compared with CoHousing -  as they often have no other options for affordable, community-oriented housing.

This represents missed opportunities for developing alternative models of shared living and does not allow for flexibility over time. The co-living approach, usually differing from CoHousing, generally expresses a capitalist solution to a social problem as it focuses on capital growth and maximized cash flow.
